In japanese,the word 'welcome' have 3 different words+meaning ely.

1.welcome as in 'welcome to our shop', used in business.

2.welcome as in used in normal day routine as in 'welcome back home'

3.and..'you're welcome' is another different word

oh,i hate n at the same time love japanese

oh and most people don't know this,but sayonara is used only if u r going to say goodbye to the person for a long long time,like months n years of leaving. for normal of saying goodbye is 'Ja mata' or 'Dewa mata'
